Parn Jones, trading as PrettyMuch Works ("PrettyMuch Works", "we"), Auckland, New Zealand, runs this website at www.prettymuchworks.com. This policy explains what personal information the site collects and how we handle it. Our apps have their own policies: see the Startlet Privacy Policy and the VorteX Privacy Policy.
What we collect
- Contact form and email. The contact form doesn't send anything to our website. When you press Send, it opens your own email app with your name, email address, subject and message filled in, and you choose whether to send it. If you email us, we receive your email address, name and anything you write, and we use them only to reply to you.
- Health information in support emails. Because Startlet is designed with ADHD brains in mind, you may choose to tell us about a diagnosis or other health information when you write to us. You don't need to. If you do, we treat it as sensitive: we keep it only in our mailbox, use it only to help you, and never share it.
- Analytics. We don't use analytics on this website.
- Cookies. This website doesn't set cookies and doesn't use local storage, tracking pixels or embedded content from other sites. Our fonts are hosted on our own site.
- Server and security logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Your browser may also send Cloudflare a network error report if a page fails to load.
We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Who processes it
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. on its global network, so requests may be handled at a data centre near you and in the United States. Our email is provided by Apple (iCloud Mail), so messages you send us are stored by Apple, which may store them in the United States or other countries where Apple operates. Both act on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies (https://www.cloudflare.com/privacy/ and https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/). We don't use any other providers for this website.
How long we keep it
We keep support emails only for as long as we need them to respond to you and to meet our legal obligations, and then delete them. We don't keep website logs ourselves; Cloudflare keeps them for a limited time under its own policies.
Your rights (New Zealand)
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and to correct it. Contact us using the details below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
EU and UK visitors
If you are in the EU or UK, we rely on our legitimate interests to answer your messages and to keep the website secure. You can ask to access, correct, erase, restrict, port or object to the use of your data, and complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
California residents
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can ask to know, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and we will not treat you differently for doing so.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We will post any changes here and update the date above.
